What is a cadet kart?  Typically, depending on the sanctioning body, a cadet kart is designed and built for drivers in the age range of 7 - 12 years old.  In some racing series or associations, it may be called Jr. 1, Mini, or Micro.

The cadet chassis is larger than the kid kart chassis, and smaller than the adult size chassis.  This is our three main classification of sprint karts.
